For All Wheat State Chapter members and friends:

This summer – indeed, the year to date - has been a bit of a challenge for planning chapter meetings.   We hope to get it right from here on, but for the moment we have some important changes to make regarding July and August meetings and activity:

-        The July meeting will be in Mentor, as reported.  The venue will be Rex Russell's Auto Museum, 704 East Mentor road.  Take I-135 to Mentor exit (86, I believe) and go east, JW will have signs posted, and the museum may have some out as well.

-        Our meeting/tour begins at noon.

-        There will  be no meal beforehand.

-        Group admission, and use of the facility for our meeting, is $300, which will be paid from chapter funds, so this will cost our members and guests nothing out-of-pocket, and we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this great opportunity.

-        At, or immediately after the meeting and tour, those present will decide if and where to meet for lunch.

JW says there are roughly 95 exhibits, most of which are antique cars.  If you want to know more about the museum, google it, there is some info on-line, and it looks good.

Regarding August meetings:

-        The board and membership meetings will be saturday 3 August at the Goessel show, as usual.  The membership meeting has begun at noon in the past and I assume it will again this year.  Bring a lawn chair.

-        We encourage you to bring and show your trucks.

-        There will be only two weeks between the July and August meetings.  That's not enough time to reliably promise a newsletter before the August meeting, so there will be none.  This letter is notice for both.

-        The next newsletter will be in advance of the September meeting.
