In response to a request from the board, I've added a page for interactive user forums. The forums are hosted on an advertising supported server, you will have to hit your back button to get back here. As with most forums, you must register before you can post messages. A password will automatically be sent to your e-mail account. After everyone has had time to read this message, I'll eliminate this intermediary page. The board requested a "Convention Questions" page where members from other chapters as well as ours can post questions about accomodations and arrangements for convention and we'll try to answer them. I added other topics I think we may find useful beyond the convention. If you have a question about fixing your truck, registration or legal issues, etc., you can post it to "Truck Help". I was thinking "Event Planning" might be useful to reduce some of those three way e-mail or phone tag sessions that seem to be inevitable whenever a group needs to decide where to meet and who needs to bring what. While setting up the site, I noticed I could attach digital photos or video links to a message. I figure Todd's not the only one taking pictures, so I created "Event Photos and Video" so everyone can upload digital photos and video (the picture and camera icons, you can also link to GoogleVideo and YouTube). Finally, I have a topic where you can suggest changes to the website or new topic areas for the forum. |
